A Missouri lady said she was stunned when a Powerball ticket that was failed to remember in her satchel for more than a month ended up being a $50,000 victor.
The St. Louis Region lady told Missouri Lottery authorities she purchased a Powerball ticket
for the July 16 drawing at the Walmart store in Manchester and got it into her handbag, where it before long became neglected.
The lady said it was only after she visited a store to check an alternate Powerball ticket that she tracked down
the neglected piece of paper in her satchel and chose to examine it.
The ticket, which had spent over a month in her sack, ended up being a $50,000 victor.
"I'm simply so appreciative and cheerful," the winner said.
She expressed a portion of the cash will go toward taking care of her understudy loans.
"It's a decent present for me," she said.
